Once upon a time...
There was a special little boy.
A lonely little boy.
A lost boy.
Who grew up without a mother or father.
There was a special little boy.

There is nothing special about this story. Lots of children born in that time have grown up with one parent, no parents... or the wrong parents.
The first war was lost. Muggles were imprisoned in camps. Families were torn apart, husbands became widowers, wives became widows, children became orphans. Until one day, when the Order of the Phoenix finally rose from the ashes of defeat, the fight started again. The second war was short, and swift, and bloody, but the Order rose victorious, and the world was set to rights.
Now the children of the Order are at Hogwarts. They know the stories told by their families, but they have never had to live through such hardship. Their lives have been happy, their futures have been bright.
But now there is a darkness that is starting to creep back. Darkness that centres around one little boy.
This little boy does not have a scar...
This little boy has never defeated the Dark Lord...
But this little boy has teeth...
And this little boy will bite.
