The air was cold. The corridors had a sense of darkness to them tonight. Taylor walked out of the empty classroom that her younger brother just dragged her into. Inside both her older brother and father had been waiting for them. Another trap again. She really wished she could change her younger brother. Why couldn't they just leave her alone. Her face was bruised and a little bloody and her clothes were torn. This was per usual after one of their physical attacks.
She sat down in the empty corridor and leaned against the wall. She hated this. Why they did this she didn't know. So she wasn't all into the Death Eater and into Voldermort. That didn't mean they had to attack her almost every day did it. She sighed as she sat there happy to be still. Her body still hurt. She was pretty sure she had recieved some broken bones this time. She was on the first floor and need to get to the hospital wing. Wincing at the movement she headed up the stairs.
On the second floor was where the blue eyes blond hair girl stopped. Falling to the ground she layed there. She pushed herself up so she could move to lay on her back. She sweared she could hear footsteps coming from the stairs. She layed there very still with her eyes closed. If her brothers and father were coming back she hoped they would leave if she stayed like this. Maybe they would think she was dead.

Remus sighed as he moved along the first floor corridor, robe slung over his shoulder and one hand holding his wand, a lumos spell glowing at it's point. The other hand was pushed into the pocket of his school trousers as he moved near silently through the school. Yawning, the sandy-haired lad pulled the hand from his pocket and swiped it over his eyes to wake himself up. Ugh, he thought to himself. It's way too soon after the full moon to be doing prefect's duties.
Sighing, Remus shrugged, shaking his head to clear the sleep doing it's best to cling to his mind. Just one more round, he promised himself as he reached the stairs leading up to the second floor. It was only a few moments later, as he reached the top of the stairs and stepped into the hallway, that he caught sight of a figure slumped on the ground. Remus sighed. Typical.
"You there!" He called, frowning. "It's past curfew, what are you doing out of bed?" He was still far enough away, and the corridor was dark enough, that he was unable to make out who the student was. Therefore, naturally, he didn't see the the damage that had been done not long before.
"Remus speaks!" Remus thinks!

Staying completely still she held her breath. She didn't want it to be her family. Not again. She couldn't take another beating so soon. Though when the voice asked what was she doing out of bed she smiled as her heart leaped. It wasn't any of her family. Remus Lupin had walked up those steps. She recognized the voice as they were both seventh years and she had so many classes with the kid.
Finally reaching her wand where it layed in her pocket she said "Lumos." The hall lighted up so Remus could see why she was out of bed. "Trust me Remus I am not out here by choice" she said wincing as another wave of pain came over her. She tried sitting up but that just made her a little dizzy. All she needed was to lay here for a while and she would be fine. This happened many times before and it would never stop. So why fight it when you can learn to deal with it and make the best out of it.
