Application - Odysseus Moore
Character Basics
Name: Odysseus Adrastos Moore Nickname: Odie Gender: Male Age: 18 (his birthday's in-between when you get the letter and when you arrive at school, i.e. he got the letter at age 11, but by Sept. 1st he was 12.) Year: Seventh Year House: Hufflepuff Blood: Half-Blood Orientation: Bisexual
Character Appearance
Overall: Odie is is very childish looking. Though technically a few months older than most of the other students, Odie is often mistaken for a 16 year old. He's still pretty tall, with a slender-looking form that actually has more muscle than it appears to have. He has very dexterous hands, which are particularly good at finely detailed things. His eyes and reflexes are also very sharp, though he hardly finds those particular skills very interesting. He has an odd dressing sense, which usually involves a lot of color.
Hair: Brown hair, neither very dark or light. It falls passed his shoulders, and with his slight form, makes him look like a girl at certain angles. It's usually very messy since all he does is comb it roughly to the side when he wakes up. Eyes: Brown eyes, also not very spectacular. They are usually half-lidded, and only slightly focused. Playby: Jordan Witzigreuter
Character Personality
Overall: Do you want to hear what the Hat told him? It was pretty sad, since apparently, most people can fit into more than one house, and the Hat has to debate which one. Not Odie. Apparently, he's not brave - "bravery intails that you be willing to face something you fear, in order to do what you believe is right". Okay... well, yeah there wasn't anything he could think of that scared him, actually. That's why he thought he could make it in Gryffindor. The "what's right" is probably what got him, how was he supposed to know that mess? From there he was too stupid to be in Ravenclaw (nicer words, but still), and too lazy and dull-witted to be a Slytherin... Great. So he's a Hufflepuff - "I'm sure you'll get along great." Isn't that just the saddest thing you've heard in your life? Is that a nice way of saying he has no soul?!
Odie's a tad more than just a part of "all the rest". Though he is particularly unmotivated and a bit slow on most concepts, he is a very easy-going and laid-back individual. His own thoughts are a bit morbid, and cynical, but he tries very hard to not have that rub off on anyone. He is also extremely chivalrous (apparently not good enough for Gryffindor...) and it comes from his mother giving him extremely feminist views - it usually freaks out girls. When it comes to guys, he's a bit less "nice". Loyal, hardworking? Well, he's working on it.
Likes: Dark Magic (oi, his mum taught him that, and it was cool. he doesn't care about that mess, it's not like he's gonna go out and be a serial killer.), Cooking, Potions, Charms, Care of Magical Creatures, Girls, Quidditch, Fighting, Guitar, the Greek Goddess Eris, Mythology Dislikes: Defense Against the Dark Arts, Transfiguration, Astronomy, Judgemental people, Turnips, Pears, Divination, Books, Reading, Rain
